The bermuda triangle: indoor version

Someone explain to me this... I keep specific things in relatively exact locations, making sure that they never get out of the specific area, and yet I lose my shit! I mean, I have searched the whole entire house pretty much every square inch and haven't come across my lost belongings; it's as if there's an indoor version of the Bermuda Triangle inside of my house, because most likely no one else took it. Does anyone have information about such circumstances? After all, the alien didn't take!
