No respite in my life
No respite in my life, for about 5 years...I've been called a bitch by people, and until I can turn things around, I will be depressed or in anguish constantly. I've been sent to the hospital for this, I've felt great pain because of this, and I've been sent to various therapists because of this. As a result, I've had horrible feelings deep inside, of anguish and despair that don't ever seem to end! All because there has been constantly something bothering me deep down for years. Once I finally get down to the bottom of this, will I be able to make a plan and will things be able to be turned around? I feel like I get easily traumatized when someone does something to me, but there has got to be a way out! I know that hurting myself won't help, and maybe others are to blame for what has happened to me? You probably haven't seen me in a while because of this. Wish I could get my life back! If I could change the past, I'd change everything that ever happened, starting from the first day of my life. People are the problem; and they could've very well been responsible for my death! All the while, I thought that not a single person in the world cared for me, because that's really how it was; they could care less!

140+ megapixel photo of a snowflake
If all goes well, I will have produced a photo of an ice crystal that is over 140 megapixels, without upscaling.
This could be the end of the world
I had a questionnare that took up quite a bit of my time. It asked me if I had suicidal thoughts, and I thought to myself, "This is pretty much the end of the world"...seriously , it is! After all of these visits to various therapists taking up my god forsaken time, you'd have those thoughts too! Long story short, is that I'm having a bad life...
Had Another Bad Day
I had another bad day today; I'm permanently hurt, not physically, but psychologically, by what happened in school, such as after people called me a bitch. But I don't need to go to the therapists anymore! I simply need some consonance.

I'd like to discuss what it is about this world. A digital photo is essentially made up of noise, dynamic range, and sharpness, among other things! Not the kind of noise that you might be thinking of. What the noise?! Older sensors seem to show less noise at high ISO values, and ISO performance doesn't seem to be affected by pixel size. What really got me is the supposed fact that as pixels get larger on a camera sensor, the amount of detail in the resulting photo seems to be higher...but is this true? There is higher dynamic range (DR) in a larger sensor; but what about high ISO performance? It seems, from samples obtained from various cameras, that DR goes hand-in-hand with ISO performance; the better the ISO performance, the better the DR seems to be. But downsizing is what really got me; the supposed fact that downsizing a 12 megapixel image to 5 megapixels will look worse than downsizing a 20 megapixel photo down to 5 megapixels, at least from a sensor that's larger. What other interesting theories might we uncover about digital photography? I always thought before, that higher dynamic range meant that the camera would record more detail from the native RAW file, separately from a RAW converter! Sometimes when I read in depth, I truly feel naive! With this near constant race for more pixels, we tend to forget what most probably don't even think of: noise performance and DR. These topics have really gotten my head pretty much spinning! And we also tend to forget about the optical performance of modern lenses; because a lens that works well for a 12 mp camera might not work well for a 24 mp camera, because at 25 mp, the amount of detail that the camera is demanding is, well, demanding for the lens; therefore, the quality of the lens must be pretty high. Keep that in mind when thinking about a camera with 80 or so megapixels, but also keep in mind image vibration at such high resolution; with ever increasing pixel counts, we're going to need ever increasing vibration reduction, either optical and/or digital.
Why did ebay do this to me?
Why did ebay try to advertise drugs to me?! Could this have any relevance to my recent posts?!
What is a man supposed to do?!
Seriously, what is a man supposed to do?! What am I supposed to do, when life is so overwhelmingly indescribable?! Oh man; when do the days end, and my soul be put to rest? When will I be able to live again? It's like I'm drowning in all of this, and times getting ever tougher. Please tell me that there is no possibility that time will continue. For my world has become too much to withstand, and the reality is all that I want to escape; feels like a world without empathy, or sympathy. And I can't truly trust anyone. So let me look forward to when time ceases to exist, for that is the only good way for me. So tell me, what is a man supposed to do? Doesn't matter how much wealth, how much strength, how many friends, how many materials one has; the result is always the same; a world that practically doesn't have show sympathy or empath;. A world which, from my perspective, is only mundane, because every day I wake up in the same house, and move around the same places. It's all the same, day to day. Sure, everyday is ok, for some time, but not everyday for 24 years!
One more day
One more day and it'll be Monday; What to do... sigh... I hope that I will have a blog that someone actually reads. I hate the people who've been calling me the b word. I can't get over my problems. I've been hurt for life. I remember "these" vivid thoughts that I used to get once times weren't tough, and when times were at the least, good. What am I supposed to do? There is no sign of respite in my life, and I can't even begin to describe my problems. And if I do, I will get negative reactions. Hurting yourself, that's not the answer. As much as it sounds to be correct, it ironically isn't going to solve your problems; hurting yourself will only make things the worst that they could be. I once thought the total opposte; that dieing would solve all of my problems; yet I can't get over the fact that it's so paradoxical of a topic; I can't wrap my brain around this one, seriously. But I also can't get over the fact that I was verbally hurt for no reason other than pure entertainment.
The World That Never Was
So it turns out that so many native americans unwillingly gave up their land for the "greatness" brought upon by the white men. I want to know what Michigan looks like without all of the bridges, roads, and manmade landmarks. The Europeans are nothing more than ordinary people, and aren't superior to the native americans; they're simply different. Aside from this, when the Nazis invaded Europe, then I think that there was essentially a paradigm shift going on in the push to take out the soviets and other redshirts; yes we would probably be speaking German or Japanese, but we wouldn't be having the North Koreans on our back all of the time. And the Nazis, they weren't innocent people as much as I wish they were. And to think that the North Koreans would've won against the Nazis is pretty much ridiculous. But native americans originally come from Asia, do they not? Then technically, the native americans, at least some of them, could be considered as perhaps being descendants of what is now an evil regime. Had we let them advance, then there would be an interesting civilization that would start itself in North America that would eventually build advanced structures, and maybe excel at what many Europeans are good at. The world that never was is something of a mystery to us, simply because we wanted to take over other peoples' lands; I'm sure that the world that never was, a world in which the Europeans never took over and conquered native lands, would've been a much better world; we would be better off in a world... one that never was.

There is something truly strange to this tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A21jOLmhGDM&lc=z22xclzazrzfjn1qu04t1aokgsyodreqzcrxebso4uxirk0h00410.1517060663441558 . So many people from various world places seem to agree that this tune makes them feel nostalgic; what's the link?!
So many products bought which don't work properly
I bought all of these products from the internet; I bought one after another because the previous one didn't work properly; this is so wrong. I'm scared to buy the next, because it might not work properly... I first experimented with UV photography using a tube-like blacklight, which worked. But then I wanted to have the same type of light, except that I wanted it to be portable; so I went for a UV flashlight; it seems to only give off purple light (pretty much). Next, I bought a Chanzon led which is supposed to peak at 365nm; unfortunately, the light is awash in visible light at the same time. Recently, I got a UV inspection light for inspecting fluid leaks in vehicles which is supposed to work well, and to my dismay, it doesn't give off as strong of a UV signature even as the Chanzon. I've just about had it with all of these products that don't work properly. I really wish that I had a way to measure the spectral output of my tubular blacklight, and get another one with the same specs. But the Nichia UV flashlight is only about 5 watts of power; that's like nothing, although the beam is supposed to go as far as 100 meters. So in the end, I just don't know; it's frustrating after you discover something new only to invest in it and it fails!

Why must I be part of this life?
I don't feel like sleeping but I can't help but sleep 24 hours per day. Under these circumstances i'd rather die than feel all of this boredom and to dwell on such indescribable mundanity. I feel as though not a single person cares for me... Show me sympathy

The mundanity of 1/26/2018
I hate this; there are no flowers, and there isn't even snow or frost around the area where I live. This couldn't possibly be more mundane. What do I make of this? I keep going onto Facebook and no one cares to message me or send me any notification, and my inspiration is at an all time low, as I think about how gloomy it is outside! Sounds like a good day to read about people who are allergic to wifi.
People are supposedly allergic to Wifi!

Superresolution, HDR, Image Averaging, and Focus stacking All in one!
I Hate Awaking!
I hate awakening. Every time I wake up for at least some time, I know that I'll awaken in the same place at pretty much the same time. I just wish that I could sleep 24 hours a day to be away from reality. I've long gotten bored of living in my own house. It's as though I been living in this same place for thousands of years; that's how boring it's gotten! I came to essentially hate my home town, all of the people that I've ever seen, and even my own home! That's because I've gotten so bored of all of this mundanity! It'd be better to die than live this way... I've gotten so bored of where I am, and all of the experiences that I commonly have, that I don't want to be anywhere near where I am now!
I want to feel like the arctic vortex.
I want to feel like the arctic vortex. The jet stream seems to be "dancing" in really complex ways these days. It's too dark and dreary here where I live. It's pretty dark, and snow free with no leaves and pretty much no foliage to talk about outside. This is too depressing. What is there to do? So I decided to start blogging again. I think that the recent movement of the jet stream has in fact been somewhat strange, but the problem is that we don't know if this has happened in the past. We only live for such a short time on Earth. At this time I'd prefer that the Arctic (not polar) vortex would return as to bring some more snow and frost to the area... I remember flying a plane near Greenland (about 25 miles away) and it was summer; I had awaken from a long night's sleep but at this Latitude the daylight lasted for about 22 hours, so I awoke to a sunrise-like light from the Sun and the air conditioning had been blowing on me from various angles for about eight hours and I felt more refreshed than at any other time in my life. That's what the jet stream reminds me of! Taking that into consideration, have a good one.
The DJI Mavic Air; They should've come out with a new Phantom
DJI very recently came out with a brand new release of their newest drone, and I'm dissapointed for the most part. The new drone that came out two days ago, the DJI Mavic Air, is like a joke! It should have a 20 megapixel sensor and be well below $800. Or ,as I was hoping, DJI probably should've come out with a new Phantom 5; that thing could be pretty expensive and I probably still wouldn't care; that's because I'd be buying from the Phantom 4 series drones. I don't totally want any other drone except DJI. The others are like shit for the most part! I'd like a foldable Phantom 4 Pro if possible, and for under $800. Just about all of the drones that I've been researching are almost perfect, in that they almost meet my requirements/demands; they simply don't want to go the full way, they're like lazy!

Ever since I left High School
Ever since I left High School, I had the toughest times of my life. I went into perpetual anguish and despair, which doesn't end. I was looked down upon in High School. I never got a chance to repair the situation, and now life isn't worth anything.
I keep seeing the same shit on social media
Every time I get on Facebook, or even YouTube, I see the same shit. I'd rather die than see anything anymore.
Focus Stacked Gigapixel; A Really Neat Idea
Would be interesting to create a focus stacked gigapixel time lapse or video. Or at least, create a focus stacked photo in HDR that's composed of hundreds of megapixels. Based on how quickly technology is evolving, I think that it will be a possibility, definitely within my lifetime, using technology. Sigma has developed the three layer sensor to have higher resolution using essentially less pixels; so why not combine that sort of technology with pixel binning, and/or pixel shift technology? You could have a 5 megapixel sensor, but with three layers, to create 15 megapixels, then further, you could have pixel shift to create a 60 megapixel photo! Use a narrow lens to create a photo of wide angle from that lens, such as a telephoto, to create an image that consists of many more pixels! For instance, you could merge ten photos, each made using the pixel shift method, to create a photo of (60 times 10 megapixels) 600 megapixels; that's more than half of a gigapixel! For example, you could use a 200mm lens, to create a photo resulting in an effective focal length of 10mm; imagine hpw many pixels that would create!!!!

Winter Storm Thunder and lightning in Michigan... in January
It feels like the time
Feels like a good time to sip some Yirgacheffe, smell some aroma, listen to some Indian summer, and take some photos in extreme macro mode! It feels like a good time to play some video games involving perpetual battle, and be persistent till the last day of my (or your) life. It feels like the time the world ought to end, and everyone to finally get justice served.

Some things to consider before assuming "facts" about climate
When thinking about climate and climate change, there are several, if not many, factors or things to consider before making assumptions. These things can easily be overlooked. So here is a list:
1) The specific heat of water is unmatched
2) When water melts, it cools the air nearby
3) When water freezes, it gives off heat
4) When ice caps melt, they give off fresh water, and when mixing with ocean water, dilute the salt, increasing the freezing point of the water; therefore, more ice can easily form
5) When ice melts, it cools the warmer water further near the equator
An Extremely Tedious "adventure" of mine
So today I finally figured it out: how to attach a microscope eyepiece to my Sony RX100 II! Here are resulting photos, which are taken at a magnification ratio of about 3:1 to 4:1.
Unfortunately, the process was extremely time consuming and tedious, as I had to adjust the height by very small incrememnts (millimeters) by trying to use various objects under the adaptor, such as a pencil or the box from my filter and trying at the same time, to keep things horizontal (planar to the sample/subject)! Here's a photo of the setup:
As you can see from the photo, I used something heavy as a counterweight.

The bermuda triangle: indoor version
Someone explain to me this... I keep specific things in relatively exact locations, making sure that they never get out of the specific area, and yet I lose my shit! I mean, I have searched the whole entire house pretty much every square inch and haven't come across my lost belongings; it's as if there's an indoor version of the Bermuda Triangle inside of my house, because most likely no one else took it. Does anyone have information about such circumstances? After all, the alien didn't take!

Do you want to meet me in the east? Do you want to meet me in the west? Every time you call on me, I drop what I do, you are my best friend and we've got some shit to shoot. Do you want to meet me at the bar? WA! Do you want to meet me in the bar? WA! Do you want to meet me in the lounge? WA! Do you want to meet me in the club? Do you want to meet me in the downtown? WA!
Part 1: Full Size Magnification
This is zoomed in just about as far as possible, of the original image, give or take a few percent error. Next, time to upload a scaled down image of the original, to prove how much detail there is! Albeit, the magnified version has "levels" applies to it
I wasn't able to upload this as a deepzoom...
I pretty much can't wait
I pretty much can't wait for that new drone of DJI's to come out JAnuary 23rd! I hope that it'll have at least 1" or larger sensor, and will come under a grand, fly at least 25 minutes or longer, have a flying range (transmitting) up to at least a mile, and have obstacle avoidance. that would just about meet my requirements. Let's hope for the best from DJI.

What to write about
I've ran out of ideas about what to write about! The world seems to be in an eerily silence lately; does that mean that major news events are still to come? I wish someone would tell me more about extra dimensions or quantum physics. This is simply mundane as it relates to our world...virtually everything that I'm thinking about is mundane. Please grant me something interesting to write about, I'm struggling to find any interesting links or anything. It's as though my mind's probably working in reverse.

Glimpses of a parallel reality?!
First of all, I'm a skeptic and mostly someone who doesn't think of the supernatural or the notion of parallel realities as authentic. I think that UFOs, ghosts, and other various phenomena are explainable, at least about 90 percent of them. And there are probably many things, or scenarios, that once can think of which are highly strange. When I was much younger, I had what I'd describe as "glimpses of parallel realities"; that's about how inexplicable my life would become at times. At their height, my emotions and/or inner feelings were so strong, so unexplainable, and so indescribable, that I was just about convinced that there was something more than special, a supernatural aspect, to our universe! And to this day, I think that I was lucky enough to experience something truly deep; what I like to describe as "parallel realities". But don't think that I necessarily think of such a notion or idea as real. I just use the term "parallel realities" because it's the only term that I can think of at the moment of this writing, even though it might be even stranger than that. If thoughts, emotions, or feelings were like entities, then I'd describe meeting the fourth kind! So what are these "extra dimensional" emotions that I experienced back in the day, when life was acceptable and feelings actually felt good? What exactly was going on?! At the climaxes of life, I felt something just like euphoria, except that it was inexplicable and much more intense than euphoria itself. It's as though I was experiencing another spatial dimension using my sixth sense itself, and in that fourth dimension, the universe was changing with an expansion so ethereal that one can only think, and not know, what this was. I want to know if anyone has any further information about these types of experiences, maybe they are not just phsychological or mental, but might have a deep connection to the universe. If you have any further information, please leave a comment. I think that it may have to do with the fact that something, maybe my intuition, might have been telling me that these current times bring indescribable elation along with them, and don't stray away; unfortunately, I have no ability anymore to access these emotions, not even once, for any amount of time. As a result, I've been in despair which quickly has turned into perpetual anguish inside of me. And every moment of my life that goes by, I can tell that I'm only striving further away from what is great and acceptable, the life that perhaps might have been had life not deviated away from the norm.
Dreaming of meeting a celebrity
I had a dream that I met a celebrity at a book store. There were some strange circumstances about in the store, and I can't totally remember what happened to me there. I assume that the strange, unexplained circumstances that the bookstore was in the midst of, gave the celebrity away and she materialized from the aether! I didn't have my phone or camera with me, but the celebrity was Taylor Swift, albeit when she was younger than she is now. What does this dream mean? I will never know that happened later in the dream, because it stopped. I feel sad all of a sudden.

We are still stuck in customs
When it comes to technological advancement, we are still stuck in customs. I'd rather board a flight with Sony, Samsung, Leica, or Panasonic. Life's like a trip, we make it to airport, which is the past, then we reach modernity when they check our luggage and we have to wait a while. I think that we're about to lift off in the future. Don't you know what I mean?
Dumb chinese people
I'm not saying that all chinese people are dumb, but I recently received a package with pretty much only one component in it, while there were supposed to be two and batteries, as well as cables. HA! "Will send back. Customer guarantee." or they probably might say something like "you satisfy product, available with wireless and receive". Funny, but seriously, it's true. Chinese people, do they really care about the product?! I bought the product because other products which are like it would cost me about $90 or more! These days, many cheap things exist on sites like Amazon, and what seems like so many that are borderline need/want.
Prediction for 1/15/18
Next week will be interesting. A major natural disaster on monday in Europe? I think that something major will happen early morning on monday of next week, such as a natural occurence. 1/15/2018 to be exact. Archive this post, and just see the news on Monday.
This is what happens when the jet stream meanders too much
I hope you are able to copy and paste this video, because it's astounding to see an abrupt cold front just move past like that! https://www.facebook.com/severeworldweather/videos/1557911917617874/?fref=gs&dti=204584516361065&hc_location=group
My New Tripod
This is an interesting little tripod. I intended to get a tripod that would work great for macro photography. This tripod doesn't work well for my compact camera, because the camera is too heavy for it, unless you do some adjusting. It works great for the tripod, it's flexible so that you can bend it around a branch for instance. It came with a Gopro mount, as well as a phone mount, which is neat. I'm hoping to use this for weather time lapses starting in the spring. The downside to this tripod is that it's very unstable, at least with the compact camera. With at least a 10 second timer, you should be able to get away with great photos, and it also came with remote but it's not professional or anything.

Super Macro Lens Idea For Sony RX100/RX100 II
New Scientific Discovery
What They ought to incorporate into modern cameras
Whether it's a point and shoot camera, a smartphone, or an SLR, I think that there should be multiple lenses and sensors incorporated into a single camera; obviously (to some) some phones already have dual lenses (cameras), however, my idea is somewhat different: For example, have a high resolution 50 megapixel camera, alongside a 5 megapixel ultra high sensitivity camera, then maybe even have a third camera that is balanced between resolution and light sensitivity. Have one of the cameras be made to perform well under extremely bright light, while another performs well under, for example, moonlight alone. And maybe incorporate differing sensor sizes into the same system; for instance, you could build a compact camera with both a full frame sensor (for more narrow depth of field), as well as a 1/4" sensor in the same design, for having really deep depth of field for macro photography. And how about having a wheel that revolves to allow various filters to be installed on it, or have a rotating wheel to include different lenses or even sensors? Now let's get more onto the scientific side of things. Maybe someday we will reach that point, where we will be able to attain such a high degree of technological advancement, that modern technology might someday allow us to specify what wavelengths of light a camera can capture, by using a touch screen, joystick, or dial to enter in a specified wavelength of light that you might want the camera to capture; for example, I could one day have a camera wherein I could type in "250nm-350nm" and the optics might somehow change via quantum processes, or chemical reactions, to attain the resulting wavelength, or color, of light down to the nanometer, or even smaller increment. Of course, if, for example, you'd want to do something crazily specific such as 400nm-400.1nm only, then you'd sure need plenty of light to achieve the perfect photo. I mean, this idea of dialing in a specified range of wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum will probably not find itself useful to consumer photography, but I'm also thinking outside of the box, and "blending" into scientific approaches. Imagine if you could also see a live view, or at least preview, of the changing light as you dial in "green" or "red" and it applies the correct colored filter to the photo. In fact, we could also say that it might even be feasible to do so using voice commands! Imagine: "I want to capture the range of light 350 nanometers to 450 nanometers, and the camera captures that exact range of color (the light spectrum). That could really be worth the effort, just to see what the implications could be and what results could be achieved. I think that it's truly neat to see how thermal cameras, IR cameras, or UV cameras see things, although we could actually explore the deeper reaches of our own visible spectrum, by focusing in on a very narrow part of the spectrum...perhaps that is so. And to take it even a step further, what if we could then map photos that might have been taken using various ranges of light? For example, we could take a photo at 365nm-366nm, map it to the blue channel, then have a 367nm-368nm photo to map to the green channel, and finally, take a photo at 750nm-850nm and map that out to the red channel...I'm not exactly sure about what the implications of such an idea would be, although I can say for sure that it would be a really compelling experiment to achieve! One of the applications that I think it would be useful for would be black and white photography, and it would arguably be even better than Photoshop, and all of the "processing" would be done in-camera. The metalens idea seems really interesting because it seems like you could probably design a pretty poor lens and have it be outstandingly sharp, even on today's cameras, if it could focus all light wavelengths into a single place...
My Premonition may or may not come true
A major scientific discovery today, and Trump saying something controversial? I got a sense that something will happen today, and that it's likely one of these, a major scientific discovery and Trump making a controversial remark. Warning: It may or might not come true, we'll see...
Interesting Weather Event In New York
How About A Medium Format Gopro?
Now that would be something, eh? Imagine that: touchscreen, waterproof, small, lightweight, simple and basic yet having full manual controls and RAW imaging format! If you don't know, what I'm trying to get at is if you had a Gopro but with a very large sensor in it that could also be extremely sensitive to light. Oh yeah, and with an f/1.2 lens.

Does anyone want to buy my book?
I got a book in the mail yesterday; it wasn't what I was expecting. Would someone like to buy it? Do you think that I could sell it for what it's worth originally? I mean, I have yet to read anything from it.
What would climate be like if instead of temperature differences, there were differences in PH?
Let's get to a major unsolved question: What would climate be like if instead of temperature differences, there were differences in PH?
Do you know what I'm talking about? If the temperatures on Earth were mapped out as PH values, then how would the climate behave? For example, the arctic is generally cold, so the H2O there would be very acidic, while in places such as the tropics, the H20 would be very basic, and at temperate latitudes there would be balance. And the weather wouldn't necessarily change according to temperature differences, instead, differences in PH and PH gradients. For example, today the moisture in the air, or the air and moisture combined, can have a PH of 7, for tomorrow the forecast can be that the air will have PH of 8, and the next day it can rise to 10. Then instead of climate change referring to temperature, it would instead be a change of PH. Would there be wind associated with such a system? I mean, it could be that way on another planet. And then what would it look like if recorded in full spectrum?!
The Honor View 10 Phone
I think it's very interesting that the Honor View 10 will include a 20 megapixel black and white sensor; I'm assuming that it's got better resolving power than a Bayer filter (duh). I was also wondering if this phone in particular will have the hot mirror removed and be a full spectrum camera?! If so, that would be sweet! Just put an f/1.2 lens on the phone, and I'll almost be sold on it! If you're wondering exactly what I'm talking about, then here it goes: cameras with a bayer filter, which is basically a grid of colored cells that usually make up a camera sensor, are great at regular photography, using the visible (RGB) spectrum of light. However, basically, the dyes that are used for making the bayer filter array block some light beyond the visible spectrum from entering the sensor; and to further make things more difficult, there's a hot mirror, which is a filter that filters out IR and UV light, that is situated in front of the camera sensor. Additionally, the optics might also block specific wavelengths of light. Once the Bayer filter is carefully removed, then you end up with higher sensitivity for UV and IR light, even though the camera can then only see in black and white. Another advantage to this technique is that the camera then gains extra resolution. So if a camera comes out, and hopefully it does, that has this type of modification done to it, I would be pleasantly surprised! That would be pretty much astounding. Imagine if, in the future, the optics were made up of a single metalens that could focus the entire electromagnetic spectrum! into a very narrow band, or wavelength of light! Technology is becoming more interesting, even if it does seem to go by slowly sometimes, although I'm ready for these new discoveries to be applied to consumer tech so that I can use the technology.

I can't trust anything anymore to bring me out of despair; I've Mistakenly Trusted my life
I mistakenly trust life to get me up and over problems; I've mistakenly trusted life to be a good thing for me! I have just about no trust for life anymore. I can't trust life to be fun anymore, or to be enjoyable, or to bring happiness. And I also can't trust anything to bring me out of despair. I keep wondering to myself, "why?", but to no avail. Why should I keep going, if there's no point? I once thought that things could change, or turn around, but as time passes, I realize that the worse things become! The more that time passes, the worse I feel, and the more I think, the more I hurt. As a result, I've been deemed as depressed, even though that's not how I am; after all, I'm much worse off than depression! And I'm afraid to tell it to people because pretty much all I get is nasty, disgusting responses. I hate this life, why must it be so?! This isn't funny.

I was wondering if there's a mechanism which would allow me to focus slowly while I have a compact camera, or smartphone on a stage, just like a microscope does; and what about manual override, for X and Y movement? That would be a VERY NEAT idea!

Climate change
First of all, I'm not stating anywhere that climate change is or isn't happening, and I'm not here to write that the following is something of major importance to us, albeit I thought that this topic might be of interest to some. So here goes: Does climate change affect the type of snow that falls in a cold region at a specific (given) temperature? For instance, if it's 32 degrees, we might have snowflakes of diameter 1 inch with very intricate, fractal-like branching arms form and that's what might snow on the ground. However, with climate change, at 32 degrees, at the same altitude, would the snowflakes take on a different shape and size? Would they now be 2 inches instead of 1, and have less complex branching arms, more like simple hexagons?! That's my question for today. I'd like to take these photos at specified temperatures using my high resolution camera, and compare them throughout the years, for signs, or evidence, of any "deformation" of ice crystals as might be a factor of the (manmade or natural) changing climate. Increased certain amount of gas, such as CO2, might actually cause ice crystals to "morph" into different shapes, although that would have to be a truly dramatic increase (or decrease) in gas concentrations, or in other words, if the balance of gasses in Earth's atmosphere changes, then that might change the atmospheric pressure, perhaps causing different kinds of snowflakes to form as opposed to how they formed in the past!
What does it mean?
What does my dream mean? Last night, I dreamt that Donald Trump was listening to a Trump impersonator, (or maybe himself) in a room they were together. Trump laughed sarcastically "Aha!" and the Trump impersonator would trip up as though he were a robot malfunctioning.

Rivers and streams becoming saltier
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2018/01/08/the-nations-rivers-and-streams-are-getting-dangerously-saltier/?utm_term=.28e2bb3e6dbb Interesting, I recently wrote about the change of water's freezing and melting point based on salinity; as more ice melts in the arctic, the less saltier the water in the oceans becomes. Now we find that rivers and streams are becoming more saltier, therefore doing the reverse that supposed climate change would do, in that the freezing/melting point of water would go down, which means that reflectivity goes down for rivers and streams.

Something that I'm Afraid Of
Pandora's Box Of Knowledge
While studying climate change, we essentially open Pandora's box! I'm not here to state that climate is/isn't real, but out of curiosity, if were to be real, then would cold fronts become colder while warm fronts might become warmer? There have been cold records in the Midwest this winter, while record warm temps will likely invade other parts of the world. But is it possible that not only will will the jet stream fluctuate more dramatically, but the arctic can get colder while places near the equator might get warmer? I guess that that could be a possibility if ridges of high and low pressure become more sustained. And is it possible that the fluctuations of cold and warm throughout even a single month for a given location might somehow change, and how would it change? If we were to study the fluctuations, would we notice that the waves on the graph get more pronounced or that the change would flatten out the waves?! Would winters become milder and longer, or colder and longer, or maybe winters might become milder and shorter, or colder and shorter?! And what about the other seasons? I've been listening to news from Europe, and the forecaster there supposedly forecast winters that are more brutal (for Northern Europe) but that have a late start. And there's a treasure trove of more topics that you could investigate.
I'm Afraid Of Ancestry DNA...
I know I'm only semi-professional at life! I'm kind of a cheap person to some extent, and as a result, I must improvise and tinker around a little while my life doesn't work out perfectly! I guess that's just the way I am. I can't personally decide whether or not I should change or stay who I am. It's an excruciatingly difficult decision. But as a result however, I've learned a lot and, in a way, become a stronger, more meaningful person. I hope that others appreciate me because of this. And the fact that...actually, don't make fun of me for saying this, although I'm really frightened that if I take a DNA test, I might found out that I have gold digger DNA, if you know what I mean!
This Song Is An Expression Of What Happens after I see people
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVtNqPV691E this link expresses my emotion after I see people at stores and wherever and I know that I'm not their friend. How sad. So many people out in public seem cool and I'm not their friend, I will probably never see them ever again because I'm shy!
Deep knowledge, Insight, and experience ready to form the world's best blend
Yes, that's true. I've learned certain specific aspects of life and knowledge which I consider essentially magic. The only way to learn such things is by experience! This is what happens whenever you combine the major aspects, which include: Insight, experience, and deep thought; you get a perfect blend of all that can combine to essentially form magic. And I sincerely think that these three factors are ready to combine in this new year. I don't know, and probably will never figure out, if I'm special in some way. However, I can say with certainty that there are aspects of life which can only be learned and known because of experience, and not by any other way, such as someone explaining them to you! Perhaps... you might be special, because you might likewise have such insights into life itself! Think deeply, use insight, and experience will essentially lead to magic!
The Saddest Moments In Life #3
The saddest part in life is also seeing people; why? I can't get over the fact that I see so many people and don't ever see them ever again, and don't even communicate with them for the rest of my life. It's kind of hard when you're not around, till the day when we meet again, in my heart is where I keep you my friend. I can't think of this life is real, because this life of mine causes far too much despair to withstand.
Two Heat Waves Coming This Month
Michigan: Two heat waves, separated by only one day of temperatures around normal, will influence the weather in the south of Michigan! I feel sad that the arctic vortex is gone. We recently this month, had a high of about 9, and I think that was yesterday! So this, 39 degrees or so, might not be warm when considered by people who live in the southern states, but for us here in Michigan, compared to recent temperatures involving the invasion of arctic air, it can definitely be considered warm! And this warm up is probably when Europe gets cold. I'm sad that the cold is going away. What a bond to break, I'll be missing you!

What's the saddest thing that's ever happened in life?
Your life? How about my life? The saddest thing that I've ever experienced would be despair. I've been to territory that's worse than depression. One of the saddest moments of my life was when I seen someone that I was supposed to, or meant, to meet with but the last time I seen them was literally the end, and I realized that I'd never see the person or know about the person ever again; I could've made a friend, but didn't get any chance, or opportunity. I can't possibly describe how horrible it felt! Life also takes it's place as the saddest thing that's ever happened. Also, there's a piano song that I once heard that I will most likely never hear again!
Take me back to the 90's!
Today, I rediscovered Sugar Ray music; take me back to 1999! Does anyone else remember? Sugar Ray's music has somehow made me feel nostalgic for no reason, and that's why I'm obsessed. Unfortunately, if you think about it, you can NEVER return to the past, because if you try, then you'll take up time that's in the present and/or future.
Warning! Climate Change Leads To The Return Of Normal Weather!
Let's just be clear...I've warned you by writing this post! First of all, I got frostnip very recently; yes that's a true story. But otherwise, I'd like to warn you about the "impending danger" of climate change. The fact that waterparks near and around Orlando have been closed is something, because for these past few years, almost in a row, we've been having these brutally cold winters; so what will happen? Ah yes! Winters might be colder but shorter? Melting ice is causing more weight on the ocean, hopefully mitigating sea rise by lowering the seafloor. However, melting of ice means that more freshwater is getting mixed into the waters of the Earth, and therefore, the melting and freezing point of water in Earth's oceans will go up, causing increased reflectivity, because, paradoxically, there would (might) be more ice as a result of a warming world! So as a bomb cyclone rages in the Northeast, a potent cold front extends all of the way into Florida! Not too long ago, (in about October) I wrote a post in which I stated that the winter would have one of three various outcomes, one of them being that the winter would be colder than average but shorter than average. A heat wave is coming, as temperatures are ready to rise into the freezing range here in my hometown!

More Info About The Flat Lens Idea
So it turns out, that I came across a much older article from 2015 about this idea. It's very compelling, however, the results do supposedly have their issues, as evidenced by a public comment from Digital Photography Review concerning the implications for digital photography
So, as you can see, it's a somewhat relatively old concept. It's frustrating to some degree that Sciencealert posts something so delayed, since I wanted to post only recent articles... and do you remember the post I made about a lensless camera?

I wish they made a Gopro that would work well with a telescope/microscope!
Wouldn't that be something?! I think that the small size of the Gopro is an astounding aspect of a camera. I wish that my compact camera could be the same size, and maybe just as light. Once they create a professional camera with manual controls that's the same size of a Gopro, I'll really want it. It would be so much fun to record 4k in 60 fps and take 20 megapixel macro photos with manual focus and aperture adjustment. I speculate that they, manufacturers, will come out with something of this nature this year!

Let's Remember Every Post
Let's remember every post that will be written on this blog in 2018. I have a feeling that people have totally forgotten at least ninety percent of all of the posts that I have posted in 2017; that's sad, because a lot of the posts are compelling, and are buried in lots of other posts. If you find an interesting post, please mention it in the comments so that people can get back to it and find it more easily. I created this blog to inhibit discussion, but even despite the fact that I've been posting for at least two years, there hasn't been any discussion, and I've been hoping that there would be. So please leave a message about a post, because it's nice to know that people aren't just reading the posts, but also responding so that I know what they think about them; I'd like to have more views, but since you guys aren't responding, I don't know whether you like my posts or not. You should let me know so that I can make the blog as interesting and compelling as possible. After all, this blog is essentially an archive of interesting news from various sources which become pretty much lost over time as more news comes in and distracts us in our daily lives. I really hope that this year will be a year of great astronomy, news, anomalous weather events, as well as science (my personal favorites!). And I really hope that I will be able to make man more Youtube videos this year. What about tou, what are your thoughts and/or hopes for this year? I mean, ringing in the new year without any discussion is pretty sad ☹

My Elaborate Super Macro Photography Setup
You can watch the setup in 4k here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQHCvAvSRvQ . If you want, I can upload a video of me using the setup outside and photographing snowflakes. There is a wireless remote shutter release, which I use to eliminate ambient vibrations, a Celestron digiscoping adapter (originally meant for telescopes) which, with some tinkering, can be used for a microscope even though it's not the most practical setup in the world. I like to use a low power microscope because I've found that the lowest power settings on traditional microscopes (40x) are often too much, especially for large snowflakes, and I prefer to have the most depth of field possible. I have thought about, and have researched, various digital microscopes as well as specially designed cameras for microscopes, but haven't come past any that are of decent quality. I've gotten some experience using a DSLR for photos of microscopic things, as well as a smartphone. All can work well, although the most practical way would be using a phone. I prefer using a compact camera, however, because even though it might not be as practical of use as a smartphone with macro lens it is (in a way) easier to get away with as opposed to a phone's camera; the quality is also better. As for DSLR, there isn't a cheap way that I know of that's also practical for doing photography of microscopic areas. I've tried using a telescope adapter specially made for my DSLR, however, the results were far from good enough, because there wasn't any way to control (adjust) aperture. Even then I'm not totally sure that it would've worked. If there was a way to make a setup for mobile phone photography that's easy and practical to use, then in my opinion, that would be the ideal solution. DSLRs can be heavy and therefore difficult to use for macro photography, while smartphones have significantly less shallow depth of field (image sharpness extends deeper), which I think pretty much makes up for the pitfalls that smartphones have as opposed to DSLRs, when it comes to the macro world. Compact cameras, however, have a nice balance; you can use a compact camera that has a wide aperture to capture more light, while avoiding the often unnecessarily shallow depth of field of a DSLR. Ideally, it would be nice to use a lens that can be sharp at a very small aperture, such as f/22, and to have plenty of light shining. That's the thing about lenses; photographers like to put a lot of emphasis on lenses with fast a aperture, or desire them more. However, at an aperture that's small, such as (for example) f/22, a lens which has a widest aperture of f/4 will more likely be sharper than a lens which has a widest aperture of f/1.4, but for sake of this discussion, I'm disregarding the fact that it also depends on how many elements a lens has which is what influences sharpness. Sharpness is just about equally as important of an aspect of a lens as is contrast. I still haven't figured out why there is more noise in macro photos as opposed to regular photos; the exposure and ISO settings are about the same after all. Had the camera had a prime lens, or a lens which didn't extend, that would have probably been ideal, and the setup would not be so "tedious".
2017 Magnificent Science Discoveries And Weather Anomalies (updated)
That's it! Time to sum up 2017. This may take a while! This year brought with it many interesting science stories, and nearing the end of the year, or for about the past two months, the climate and weather started to do some interesting things here on Earth! There are also other things that I had written, although science and weather stories so far seem to be the most popular among readers, garnering up to about 400 views per day on rare occasion. The weekly views have recently been more or less stable at about 1,000 pageviews per month. Anyways, Here's a summary of many of my posts, starting from the earliest to some of the latest!
Science:
Early on, I had my own theories about science and have written more about my own ideas, rather than posting links to sources. On July of 2017, I wrote the post entitled "Escaping Technology; The Next Revolution Will Not Be About Technological Advances, But Magic! Plus, The Lust For Technology". Before I go any further, I'd like to say that I won't be going into detail about each post, as each one can easily be found to the right of the blog under month name. Now, getting back to my post, at one time or another my post resonated with what happened later on, because sometime after I wrote the post (I haven't found the link/post yet) I came past a link in which it was written that the future would be about something other than technological advancement! Let's hope I can find that article (I just found the connection!). https://singularityhub.com/2017/11/19/how-technology-is-leading-us-into-the-imagination-age/?utm_source=hub&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=xthinkers&utm_content=nov-week-4&mkt_tok=eyJpIjoiTWpReE16Y3paVE5oTUdNNSIsInQiOiJpeFY4aE11K1JPdUVDMVJNMFNib1JNOFYxSEZqUkN1eFF6cnl4Y2lxemEwbHFGYmhKRlwvVEpwdnRSOHRwcmJORWZKZkVsOGozK0tSdFV6dGVtZGpkWXZtcWI4Q3VGZ016aUw4RTJvQ2RtK0hjRFpVajF0TzI3U1djREpsZVh0dzEifQ%3D%3D

Alaska almost had it's warmest december on record, and record snowfall this December in Erie, Pennsylvania, as well as the largest fire in California history. Also, early in December,
